The Katsina State Police has arrested a notorious syndicate of trans-border Indian Hemp traffickers and recovered forty sealed parcels of dried leaves suspected to be Indian Hemp.
Spokesperson for the Command, Isah Gambo, who confirmed the arrest stated that on Monday, November 26, primarily based on a tip off, the Command succeeded in arresting the notorious syndicate that focuses on trans-border Indian Hemp trafficking.
“Nemesis caught up with the duo of one Nura Inusa, ‘m’, aged 25yrs of Maimujiya, Niger Republic and one Rabiu Ahmadu, ‘m’, 28yrs of Danbatta LGA of Kano state, once they have been arrested by gallant policemen connected to Safer Freeway Patrol, on routine checks alongside Kano – Daura – Republic of Niger street in possession of forty (40) sealed parcels of dried leaves suspected to be Indian Hemp. Suspects confessed to the fee of offence. Investigation is ongoing,” he stated.
