Video Released of 14-Year-Old Black Teen Shot At For Asking Directions

Video of the Rochester Hills, Michigan man who shot his gun at a 14-year-old Black teen asking for instructions was proven at his trial on Wednesday and will increase doubts with jurors over his declare that the taking pictures was an accident, The Oakland Press stories.

Jeffrey Zeigler, 53, was charged with tried homicide and possession of a firearm within the fee of a felony over an incident the place he shot at Brennan Walker on April 12.

Zeigler stated that he and his spouse believed that the teenager was trying to interrupt into their residence, Brennan testified on Monda that he stopped by their home to ask for instructions to Rochester Excessive Faculty after lacking his bus.

Within the video, taken by Zeigler’s residence surveillance system, Brennan walks as much as the house and seemingly rings the doorbell ready for a response. The door opens and Brennan runs away and Zeigler may be seen holding a firearm and taking pictures on the teen as he fled the scene.

The video doesn’t corroborate Zeigler’s claims of a break-in, in response to Detective Shawn Tempo, who investigated the incident.
