Two suspected Indian hemp merchants arrested, seven bags confiscated

In its steady effort to rid the state of illicit medication and banned substances, the operatives of Lagos State Police Command, connected to Maroko Division, on Sunday, September 16th, at about 1200hrs, whereas on routine anti crime patrol, intercepted a Volks Wagen Gulf saloon automobile, pink color, with registration quantity  KJA  377 EY.

When the automobile was searched, seven bags of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp (Hashish marijuana), rigorously hidden to keep away from being seized by safety operatives, have been recovered from the 2 occupants, particularly, Tajudeen Amanda, 60 years and Rasheed Kehinde, 31 years. 

The suspects who have been arrested by the workforce at Ghetto waterside, Marwa, Lekki Section one, are at the moment present process interrogation at Maroko Police station. Each males have  confessed to the crime stating that the weeds believed to be Indian hemp are meant for customers within the state, primarily youths.
