Police IG apologises to Edwin Clark?over

Inspector Common of Police, Ibrahim Idris has apologised to elder statesman, Edwin Clark over the raid of his home on Tuesday.  

The IG despatched a delegation of senior police officers, led by DIG Habila Joshak (DIG DOPs), alongside some commissioners of police to go to the elder statesman and apologize on behalf of the Nigeria Police Pressure and the IGP.  

In accordance to an announcement by DCP Jimoh Moshood, Appearing Public Relations Officer, Pressure Headquarters, Abuja, the apology was for “the misconducts of the mentioned Police personnel and the attendant embarrassment the search has induced on the elder statesman and his household”.
