An Osun State Excessive Court sitting in Ejigbo has granted an order restraining the police from arresting PDP governorship candidate in tomorrow September 22nd governorship election, Senator Ademola Adeleke.
Adeleke had approached Justice Yinka Aderibigbe to sought the order after the police on Tuesday requested him to look on the Pressure Headquarters in Abuja on the allegation of certificates forgery. President Muhammadu Buhari nevertheless stopped the police from the invitation.
“An order restraining the respondents, their brokers or privies from taking any steps by the use of arresting and/or detaining the applicant, that can infringe on the freedom and freedom of the applicant to organize for and take part within the Osun State governorship election of 22nd of September, 2018 and thereafter, pending the dedication of the substantive software. And for such order or additional orders as this Honorable Court might deem for to make within the circumstances of this software.
“Upon studying the appliance and affidavit of Ademola Adeleke, male, Muslim, Public Officer, Nigeria citizen of Ademola Adeleke Nation Residence, Ede, Osun State of Nigeria. Sworn to and filed on the Excessive Court Registry, Ejigbo, on 20th, September 2018.
“And after listening to from Mr Kanmi Ajibola, counsel for the applicant the place he moved the movement, the court docket then ordered as follows: An order is granted restraining the respondents, their brokers or privies from taking any steps by the use of arresting and or detaining the applicant that can infringe on the freedom and freedom of the applicant to organize for and take part within the Osun State Governorship election of 22nd of September on the substantive software. The return date shall be Thursday, 27th September 2018.”
