US Senator John McCain, who was recognized with aggressive glioblastoma in July 2017, is stopping treatment for his aggressive terminal brain cancer, his household revealed Friday morning.
The 81-year-old’s daughter, Meghan McCain made this revelation in a press release shared on Twitter.
The assertion reads:
Final summer season, Senator John McCain shared with People the information our household already knew: he had been recognized with an aggressive glioblastoma, and the prognosis was severe.
Within the 12 months since, John has surpassed expectations for his survival. However the progress of illness and the inexorable advance of age render their verdict. With his standard strength of mind, he has now chosen to discontinue medical treatment.
