Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has maintained that he has left the ruling party, APC and is yet to be part of a new political party. Recall that on Monday, Governor Ortom introduced he has left the APC after receiving a purple card from members of the party within the state. His exit from the party was denied by the Nationwide chief of the party, Adams Oshiomole.
Nevertheless, in a new interview with The Nation, Governor Ortom maintained he has left APC and that he is yet to be part of one other party. The state capital is presently flooded together with his marketing campaign posters for the 2019 governorship on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
